Heat Exchange Tube

The heat exchange tube/pipe is one of the components of the heat exchanger, which is used for the exchange of heat between two media. It has high thermal conductivity and good isotherm. It is a device that can quickly transfer heat from one point to another. The U-tube can expand or contract freely and evenly.

Material

Carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, copper-nickel alloy, aluminum alloy, titanium and so on. In addition, there are some non-metallic materials, such as graphite, ceramics, etc. The design should be based on the working pressure, temperature and medium corrosion of the appropriate material, such as ASME SA-213, SA-249

Standard

ASME SA-179 SA-179M

Note 1 - Steel pipes with outer diameter and wall thickness that are smaller than the range specified in this standard, this standard is also applicable. However, the relevant mechanical properties are not suitable for outer diameters less than 1/8 inch [3.2 mm] or wall thicknesses less than 0.015 inches [0.4 mm]

1.3 In inches/pounds and SI millimeter-kilograms, the value of the SI unit is indicated in parentheses in the test. Since two different systems of units of measurement cannot be accurately aligned, they cannot be used at the same time. Mixing the two units of measure will result in inconsistencies in specifications. Therefore, when using the inch/pound unit system, when using M units, it needs to be specifically stated in the order.
